I think I hit hour 37 or so of Metaphor today - I've been absolutely devouring it this week. And none of those hours have felt bad. I fully expect to get up towards 100 hours in this game (since I have 120 hours in Persona 5 Royal), but I also am pretty confident there's not going to be much bullshit along the way. And I'm down for that.
Turn off the music and sit in a zone listening to the rain and thunder while talking to friends. A+.
This game has excellent ambient sounds. I turn the music off often and just listen. Sometimes it's fun to just wander or find a little nook to craft in nature.
And that, to me, is fine. People can be furries or like furries. I'm OK with that.
On Bluesky, however, there is/was a ton of furry content being posted, and not just drawings or simple photos. I sadly know what a furry, wolf penis looks like by just scrolling through the app. So the moderation lists are great.
Hopefully this link shared correctly, but I found that furries are all over the place there. And while I don’t care that they want to be furries, I don’t really want to see it all over.
Anyway, this moderation list has helped a lot in filtering out a lot of that type of post and has made my experience a lot better.
It’s a scary looking link, but I promise I just hit the share button from the app. This list is called “Ultimate Furry Mute”
I bought my car at the end of 2018, and I get flyers in the mail maybe twice a month from the dealership trying to get me to "upgrade." Since I work from home I barely put miles on it.
I'm fortunate in that I have paid it off, and the flyer is like, "We see you have paid off your car loan, we can get you into a new car for $300/m!" Yeah no. That's not the deal they think it is.
I know in some cities Walgreens and CVS are maybe not terrible stores because they are close and you can walk there and pick up maybe a few groceries on the way back from work.
But in a more sprawling city where you have to drive everywhere, I've never once opted to buy anything from Walgreens over another store simply because the prices there are outrageous. I only go to my closest Walgreens for vaccinations.
Plus the stores (both Walgreens and CVS) often are kinda messy as hell. And I don't even blame the workers that much. It seems like at any given time there's MAYBE one to two people working there outside of the pharmacy.
Wait, so the monitor has some sort of network capability?
I assume it’s full of streaming apps or something and they just also added this fun ad junk to it.
