Really not interested in anything the guy with the terrible facial hair wants to make.

I imagine this also filters down to people not wanting to buy American things as much, too. And who would blame them?

Like, maybe someone holds off on a Nike shirt with a sports team logo they like. Or stop using Amazon, etc.

At least they can use that money they saved for checks notes powering CoPilot no one is asking for.

I just feel bad for a lot of kids because maybe their phone or tablet has the game they want but often they are playing using just the touchscreen and that interface sucks for anything that requires joystick or button controls (where the touchscreen just has vague areas with pretend joysticks and buttons).

It just does.

I get that kids get used to it, but it's like getting used to being kicked in the nuts when you have the option of not being kicked in the nuts.

What a good country we live in when this app is the #1 app in the Social Networking category.

I might hit a Reddit link here or there because occasionally the information I need is posted there (that I found from a web search). But I don't browse that site ever any more.

Deleted Twitter because of elon. Deleted Facebook after Cambridge Analytica. Never had Instagram (will never download a Meta app at this point).

I just did a quick search and found some ~$30 which I think was around the MSRP.

If street sweepers went away, people would notice within a week or two.

That reminds me that I do have Shulk as well. I had just moved recently, and a lot of those things are still in a box.

Honestly, the Shulk may have better detail than the Noah and Mio. But I love Noah and Mio a little bit more anyway 🙂.

I ended up spending the $40 or whatever to get the Mio and Noah Amiibo, and they are sitting on my desk right now.

I’m so sad I didn’t get the steelbook case for the game when I had the chance. I had waffled because while I like XC2, it was just OK for me. I don’t know if I wanted to spend the extra money on the steelbook at the time. XC3 is in my top five favorite games, too, now.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3

I started a New Game + on Switch 2, and while it doesn’t have a resolution or graphical update (please, Nintendo), it now never has a frame dip so it does feel better to play.

This game is still probably my favorite of the last generation. I love these characters to death. It’s fun to see the story again from the start knowing where it’s going and to also to absolutely stomp everything because I started at level 88.

But yeah, the story is awesome, and it makes me have real feelings in a way basically no other game has done. So good.

Researchers already are saying it could be made for $25.
