Also you are not getting bullied because you don't have cigarettes or smartphones, but because you lack self confidence and because you are perceived as social weak (your friends and random bystanders would not come to your help).

Like if you don't want you child to use a smartphone - just don't buy one for them.

So the way is quite straight forward, do some shitty projects until you have money/reputation to do the projects you actually want.

I don't say it's easy. But if you want to make a good creative product you have to be able to keep the creative control, that is part of your job and what makes realization of creative ideas, especially on big scale, more difficult. It's the same with other creative media like movies.

That's basically what I wrote, (free) market economy especially in combination with credit based capitalism gives those people a perfect combination of a system to thrive in. This seems to result in very fast progress and immense wealth, which is not distributed very equally. Than again, I prefer Besos and Zuckerberg as CEOs rather than politicians or warlords. Dudes with big Egos and Ambitions need something productive to work on.

Sure. With google I get more that I search for. It might be bad but it works for me. Ddg does not work for me in the same way. I use just to support is them as an alternative to Google.
