He'll wait until all the nightly news broadcasts are over making them have to talk about him the whole time in anticipation. That's ok. I've waited 7yrs for this shit and I can wait a little longer.
I feel like it's visiting a friendly village I love rather than getting lost in a city that's interesting because it's awful. Honestly, I come here as much as I did reddit at this point. Less flashy. More endearing.
Of course he knows the difference. He only cares about the court of public opinion. He knows nothing good can happen legally for him. He's hoping if he keeps a shiny nugget on the horizon long enough, his entourage might terrorize the court, witnesses or the prosecution enough to get him off.
He really has nothing else since it seems other GOP candidates are less likely to pardon him by the day.
It's hard to say. Honestly, I think the GOP is in a pinch. They want the turnout that trump affords them but they also want him out of the way as clean as possible. When MAGA people come to the realization that the GOP is trying the bait and switch, shit will really get spicy.
I think that's a very objective view of the landscape here. I hope it comes across as inviting as it is informative, to me at least.
To add, I think people here are a little less reactionary than on platforms like reddit. At least for the time being. I certainly want the whole of the civil society represented here including conservatives. Dialog will get us out of the divisive place we've come to. We share a lot more than we differ.
