  • Just to add I think you could make some of the same arguments for the degrading of healthcare/social safety nets and the EPA. If we're purely talking numbers and not specific cruelty.

    • You shouldn't get mad at people who believe in conspiracy theories. Those theories exist because governments and corporations have historically lied to their citizens and customers.

  • Honestly, I'm kinda afraid to think about it. There's a nonzero chance I have no in-depth nerdery. Aside from introspection, I'm not sure there's anything I really can consider myself knowledgable about. At least more than anyone who takes a cursory interest in anything.

Did the US via Biden support it, yup. All your comments presuppose there are no other moving parts behind what it takes steer supporting genocide from standing by an ally in an election year is myopic. Anything that leads to trump being president is worse than what we can imagine for the Palestinian people. Bibi would have carte blanche.

    Nothing about this war is defensible but what do you want in the long run here? What happens next?
