  • That doesn't feel viable.

  • Random educational posts, like stuff that is actually useful. Like physics lessons.

  • Yeah, somebody once explained this to me like

"even stupid animals go directly at where they want to go"

  • I'd like to teach math to anyone who's interested, but I lack infrastructure to do so, unfortunately.

  • I don't see it that way. Most "word problems" are just poorly posed, lack important information, or are ambiguous. Often, they are mostly fairly unrealistic.

It would be better to describe usage scenarios, talk about examples in class, and give exercises which have a clear, discernible pattern. Like, actual physics problems.

  • I agree, class war is coming and has to come, but it probably still got a few years to go. Can't rush things.

  • Because you have to go forward before you can go backward.

  • I honestly believe that the usefulness of a specific piece of knowledge resembles the logarithmic curve, the higher your education already is.

  • literally shitpost

  • Honestly I'd rather have that, than randomly have to miss some important E-mail because the system put it in the junk folder.

  • I guess it's a mixture of a lot of things.

First of all, there's simply a lot of propaganda. It's difficult to see the truth when you're bombarded with propaganda all the time.

Secondly, it takes a lot of patience to figure out the right thing to do. Lots of people today simply don't have that patience.

Then there is a lot of environmental problems.

    It all adds up.

  • lentil tomato?

  • I, for one, would prefer a peaceful solution. And so do lots of my comrades.

  • Not really an "invasive species", but definitely a peripheral phenomenon.
