Hey couples, do you have similar views as your partner or are you very different people?

    • Distrobox is such a cool utility! Tried it out today and don't see myself switching distros now for a long time :)

  • I Wish I would have discovered it before. I think it's very useful when you want to install proprietary software like Matlab or Vivado. With distrobox you avoid to bloat your system and when you want to remove them you simply remove the container

  • I used dist-upgrade and it worked.

    It's like 6.0 headers were the problem but I removed them with apt autoremove and it still shown the problem. apt dist-upgrade solved it by installing new dependencies. I don't know why the normal apt update didn't install them automatically.

  • You say that because they are listed as removable? If so because I updated from 515 to 525 months ago and today from 525 to 535. I think they are still there but are not used anymore and are safe

  • The DNS is useful only to translate the hostname (9gag.com) to an IP address. If you use a different DNS then the one offered by your ISP, the ISP will not record the fact that you asked a translation of 9gag.com

  • I do a periodic backup with Vorta towards my server. The server does a daily backup to an S3 service with Restic
