  • See I only got lag & crashes on windows, when on my Arch install I had/have no problems whatsoever. I haven't used windows since 2002 & don't really plan on doing so any time soon, the install was just to quickly see what windows 10 was like compared to Linux....

  • I've had people tell me that they experience better performance running games on Linux through Proton compared to running them natively on Windows. A while back, I decided to try Windows for the first time since 2002 on actual hardware. With TF2, I encountered significantly more crashes & lag compared to running it on my Arch install....

  • Literally no Linux user ever....

  • For the most part I use ncmpcpp with mpd, but sometimes whenever I just want to listen to a single file I use mpv --no-video instead....

  • These are the reasons why I would consider installing Nobara over Fedora....

  • Not upgrading your system for like 6 months is a really bad practice that should not be recommended ever. If you don't want to upgrade your system all that often, then why not install something like Debian instead of a rolling distro?

  • There's nothing wrong with using something like KDE. I myself use XFCE. Use whatever you like and are comfortable with....

  • Upgrading between Ubuntu lts releases never fully worked for me either. Something always broke or went wrong....

  • I won't :)

  • I typed it by accident & never realised aha. On the other hand.. I have done nothing but teleport bread for three days....

  • I CANNOT unsee this now 😶‍🌫️
Not sure whether it's creepy or funny 🤔

  • 😂 😂 🍞

  • Fair, fair....

  • No I have not tried that.. Yet !!

  • Never tried bandcamp, but will have to try it out soon....

  • I try to buy all my music directly from the artist in CD form whenever possible. Whenever that's not possible, I try to get a version that I can save locally & play offline....

  • How about instead of making yet another Linux distro, you just make an install script instead? I'm personally more likely to try out an install script over a totally pointless ISO....

  • Thank you very much for the links....

  • Been using XFCE on Linux for somewhere around 20 years. In the new year I wish to try switching fulltime to a wm & maybe even wayland....
