On my display I have at home I have a kinda similar issue, but it's on all machines. It's just only noticeable on Mac OS with the default colors the theme uses. On 100% white it's too blinding to tell, any darker and it blends in. The "lines" are the border between the pixels and as far as I can tell it's because the display has a poor "dot pitch" for it's size.

They're still there when I connect a PC, but like I said it's harder to tell with the theme Windows uses, but they're still there.

What kind of distortion? So you have a picture?

Is it blurry? Are there digital artifacts randomly? Does it just blank out then come back?

I’ve always preferred a smaller screen. 13” isn’t really that much smaller unless you’re blind.

S0 standby is the problem. It's a flawed idea from the start. The theory is it's more "secure" or something. But like... Who cares about stealing shit from memory going from sleep to wake.

Now my laptop drops 20% charge in 5-10 minutes and goes into hibernation. It draws more power than if it's on.

Macs aren't immune to S0 sleep options. The Apple silicon CPUs are just so efficient that when it fails to fall to sleep it doesn't matter. Intel ones it sucks balls when it fails.

Of course a larger device will cost less/provide better performance. You're paying a premium for the handheld formfactor. Just like how with a gaming laptop you're paying a premium vs a 50+ pound desktop.

On a modern laptop undervolting probably isn’t an option, but you can try to reduce your CPUs clock speeds.

My old thinkpad has a PL1 of like 100 watts normally, 50 watts in game, but it drops all the way down to just 25 watts after a while. If I can reduce my CPUs clock speeds so it rarely exceeds 35 watts in game then I can maintain that higher power level almost indefinitely. Maybe try seeing if your laptop is doing something similar?

What kind of compression are they using if a H tier 12th gen i5 is running at 100% usage? I doubt a laptop with that tier of a CPU has that great of an SSD that can saturate the CPU. Unless it's single threaded or something.

The problem is getting, filtering, and purifying the water so it can be used again.

Mac OS is my favorite Linux distro.

To be honest I'd be surprised if it didn't. I ran the OG version on a 2011 MacBook air with Intel HD 3000 integrated graphics. On HD 4000 it actually ran quite well.

It's probably all single threaded. Overall CPU usage isn't very useful in the day and age of 8-24 core CPUs. Especially hybrid architectures like Intel has.

At least the basic movement from that video could easily be done with a regular joystick, it's just the developer chose to not implement it.

I have no issues with Cloudflare, but Anubis always takes it sweet ass time to verify me. Like 30+ seconds just sitting there, but then eventually I get in.
