I didn't say that the victims in this tragedy were undocumented. I didn't hear that anywhere and I'm NOT trying to start a narrative. It was just the first thing that popped into my head when thinking about why a person would be so conditioned in obeying their employer.

Yours is also a sad but perfectly true reason as well.

Because they are undocumented and are afraid their employer will have them deported if they don't do what they're told. That's one reason.

The only person with integrity I see here is the admin that initially removed the comments promoting animal abuse. Those that backed down and restored the comments caved to the pressure of an extreme, insular community and sided against *defenseless animals. I see no integrity in their actions no matter how they try to spin it.

Well, good for you. The town I live in has a Sonic, a McDonald's, a Mazzio's pizza, two local Tex Mex restaurants, and... a Subway.

While I like Church's Chicken better than KFC I definitely wouldn't call them more upscale. In fact I've never seen a Church's that wasn't in the hood.
