  • Yeah, finding a career that is acceptable and pays enough to afford the lifestyle you crave is a balance. Usually that advice comes from people who love doing something that is coincidentally also highly paid.

Also, loving something and being actually good enough at it to make a career out of it are also two different things

  • I'd say the tasks and role of your job should at least be enjoyable enough to not hate it but what I think is even more important (and makes me enjoy my job) is the work climate, being appreciated by colleagues / customers / management, and a sense of purpose.

  • Getting the UK back is beneficial to all EU member states both as the second biggest economy and biggest military power of the continent. No other potential member state has anywhere near these benefits

  • 70% instead of 5% is so far away that it's pretty clear their system isn't working. I would understand your criticism if we were talking about 10% vs. 5% but not with these numbers it's clear this system never worked, even in a testing environment

  • I guess the people in this thread here just hate people from developing countries or they haven't read the article. Or could someone explain why people here celebrate this:

Rest of World analysis of that data found that a number of developing countries are plateauing in the number of mobile internet subscribers. That suggests that in countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, and Mexico, the easiest populations to get online have already logged on, and getting the rest of the population on mobile internet will continue to be a challenge.

    And

The cost of data in Africa, for example, is more than twice that of the Americas, the second most expensive region.
