  • This is wild if true.

I loved RDR, and played the fuck out of that. RDR2 spend so much time trying to distract me from actually playing that I got bored.

I was down voted a lot for preferring the original. Thats neat that others found the first better.

  • On a related tangent, because I see that this is mostly discussed to death, I dont get why Americans decided to merge other unrelated words.

For example, being exhausted and the rubber circle that cars and bikes use to roll smoothly are the same word in American English whereas we (UK) use different spellings.

    Tire - Being exhausted

Tyre - Round rubber wheel thing

  • And then you have The Marvels which seems to have a lot of its plot happen before off screen and a large chunk of the first half of the film consists of

Oh these people I met before and we are friends

Oh these people I met before and they dont like me

  • I had this issue with Reddit. You need a lot of houses, making some available doesn't fix the issue with the vast majority.

  • And thats fine. I'm just letting you know how I feel about this.

Banning short term rentals is one thing, but can we please at least request that hotels fill the gap that this creates?

  • I wouldn't visit.

I have two children, and the number of hotels where I can get joining rooms so I dont have to actually share with them is basically zero.

  • We can, but very few people own a second, let along a third or fourth.

Either they are landlords and running it through a business, and how do you prevent a business from owning two locations?

Sorry Londis, you can only have one store because you have a flat upstairs?

Or they own them privately, and in this country its massively overstated. Presumably to try and start a bit of class warfare, but folks see US news and think it applies here.

Fucking Tories, making the crabs pull everyone back into the bucket when there really aren't that many. Even Shelter doesn't call it out as a problem, compared to the many other things we could do to help.

  • We're only short by about a million. That'll fix the problem!

  • So these could be houses that people don't actually want to live in? Maybe because work isn't there, or the cost of repair too high?

I remember some of those houses, as I was in Wavertree near the Botanic Gardens, Matalan and the burnt down pubs around 2000 and you couldn't give away some homes just a bit further down Picton.

  • While this is true, learning some kind of programming - shell scripting or BASIC in olden days - is a very useful endeavor.

And learning sewing is useful, but I dont need it to wear clothes.

  • Pretty sure those are all things that Musk stands for.

The cybertruck is the pinnacle of funding for his shitty views.

  • “Allegations of foul play have been received that somehow King Conker swapped his real conker for the metal one later found in his pocket.

    ...

There are also suggestions that King Conker had marked the strings of harder nuts. We can confirm he was involved in drilling and lacing the nuts before the event.

The metal conker is suspicious, however to them start going around and making other random claims makes you sound like a sore loser.

  • Yes. It left the intelligent to become an endangered species.

    Nothing to do with genetics.

  • I dont remember much about genetic decay.

    There was definitely educational decay.

  • It is a funny shape.

  • All of Windows is malware. By default you have adverts in your start menu, you have pop ups (which is not the same thing as Windows Update, pop ups are a service provided by Explorer) which maliciously install unwanted web browsers.

You can't support Trump and then claim that only a small part of his following is due to racist bigots.

You can't support AI and claim that only a small part of it damages the atmosphere.

You can't support Windows and claim that only part of it is malware.

Windows 100% enables and supports this nefarious behaviour. It's the abusive spouse trapping you before beating the shit out of you for your own good.

  • Yeah, you are already running Windows.

If you still consider Windows Update malware then you completely missed the other 90% of your hostile environment.

  • Its odd to call Windows Update "Malware".
