I've been looking at getting a odroid h4 ultra as my next toy. It would suit you I think.

I'm in and out of the bathroom in less than 15, time spent in the shower is as little as 3, but generally between 5 and 8 minutes. Male, I shave at the sink, short hair. If you're in the shower doing tertiary tasks, I hope you at least, only run the water when you need to .

The ROI is long term, and not sure if it would actually happen, considering potential mechanical failure. My best plan for a high ROI is to put a hydraulic solar panel on the roof. Just need to get round to it, so many other jobs taking priority at the moment.

20 minutes??!!! Wtf are you doing? How much is your heating bill!!! I have a family of 5 and it costs over 4 euros a day to provide hot water for us all (200litre tank) of we all took 20 minutes, I would go full on dad rage.

Why can't you self host? I have a wordpress site, and everything is fine, I use noIP for a domain name and IP tracking. Everything is running on a raspberry pi 4, with 7TB of USB storage. Loading up the photos can be a little slow when we post a big adventure day out, but if you're patient, or have the means to put a more powerful machine on the job, it is the best way to share your lives with family. Wordpress has an option to ask the search engine crawler to not index the website, and it seems to work. When I post to the blog, I have an email subscription list for all my family, who want to be notified of a new post.
