Nope. I'm currently in England and a lot of it they burn with the rest of our garbage too. Other places here still ship it to the third world. We still have a long way to go before the garbage and recycling problem is fixed.
This is a global problem, fortunately consumers are better at separating their waste these days. A lot of these problems are up stream, though. Some places are getting better as per above but they are not good with this stuff. These laws are meant to set bare minimum standards and they are repeatedly missed.
We already have. It's been cheaper for a while now to go abroad for undergraduate and graduate school. Source: Me. I did this for the golden visa and got tricked by stupid sexy science. I have met several like me in the last decade. It's been a long time coming.

It's almost like they'd rather continue to talk to consultants than their own constituents post-Hilary and when your ideas are only to position yourself against the other guy, well you don't have very many ideas at all. At least you still get to feel morally superior and continue building your own careerist resume. Democratic leadership don't care about anyone but themselves and it shows. These people don't work for you.
Also, my favourite fact is we know almost nothing about dinosaurs from jungles and mountains. Most of our knowledge comes from wetland and oceanic creatures because of the way fossils are formed.
To be fair, things can fossilise very quickly given ideal conditions. Still dinosaurs reigned for a lot more time than mammals and frankly nature is still feeling the loss in certain ways.
I played a little bit of those. I think it was more everyone I used to play with got old and busy. :) I would like to check in soon though, give me a few weeks first to finish everything I need to do lol.
