But courts are given authority only to interpret existing legislation; their decisions do not restrict the legislature's authority to enact new laws. Thus the convoluted shit they come up with to abuse the appeals process, as mentioned.

Is there any reason Hamas would intentionally underreport the death toll? I can't think of anything that would make sense. But I should probably point out that the claim that the actual number is higher did not come from Hamas.

I have NotallyX installed, to be specific. I finally dug into the settings, and it does support automatic backups to a local folder. So you would need to pair it with a cloud backup app, but the good news is cloud backup should be very doable! Looks like you can manually export as well.

I've been testing out Notally (available on f-droid). Seems like a solid replacement. Doesn't have the cloud backup of Keep, though (I don't think).
