When lunch time comes around I unplug my work laptop from its USB-C docking station and plug my phone in. Works prrfect with my ultrawide, keyboard, and mouse. Then I watch YouTube or Plex while I eat.

I seriously won't consider a Pixel until it can do the same. Samsung's private folder implementation is also excellent. I can have a second VPN in there. I've been wanting virtualization on mobile for a while and this is close.

I'm not the OP, or an American, but yes I think a lot of the world is looking at them and feeling that they're getting their comeuppance.

The problem is that America is truly too big to fail. Not that they can't fail, but they will drag the world down with them if they do. Global trade and global security is anchored to them, so while I want to see them slapped back to reality, I don't think we can afford for them to devolve into civil war.

I don't want to downplay sexual misconduct, but the issues we are facing right now are orders of magnitude higher.

You will never find a perfect point it time where life is good for and harmonious everyone. The 90s had their problems, for sure, but the USA wasn't tearing itself apart, or bringing in and welcoming in a new wave of fascism.

I'm only just now starting the process and "losing myself" is my number one concern and also held me back. I haven't started on any meds yet, but it's the next step and I'm dreading it. Any advice?

Because there were two world wars that mainly took place in Europe. America was never subjected to bombing or invasion, meaning their industrial capacity was never crippled. They came out on top each time and used their influence and strength to become the new superpower.

This is overly simplified of course.

I never said they needed one space per unit, but say, 10 spaces for the 50 units would have likely been enough to dissuade fears of the local residents.

Look, as much as I think people should be taking transit and bikes as much as possible, for the developer not to provide a single parking lot for a building that size is silly.

Like I said, I'm sensitive to low frame rates and really notice it. Like I'm watching video that is stuttery.

I know people have a "feel" to cinema that they enjoy and I have no issue with that, but I like the feel of smooth motion. It's something you should absolutely be able to turn off though.

There, I said it. I'm glad it's a feature you can disable so everyone can be happy, but I find 30fps choppy and distracting. Maybe I play too many video games, but high frame rates are the norm on PC. Hell, frame generation is a big feature now, but that's a topic for another day.

Those basic safe driving techniques are based on ideal conditions. Take the three second lead for example, that's on dry roads with good visibility. You wouldn't follow that close if it was icy, because now your reaction time is not going to be enough, you have less control over the road so you must increase your follow distance.

Driving drunk is the same, your reaction time is now slower so again three seconds isn't enough. You don't have the same control over your body and alertness, so you need to drive even slower and more cautiously.

Now you're the odd one out. Your overly cautious driving will confuse the people driving around you because it'll be less predictable and odd. They'll try to pass you causing the chance of accidents to increase.

This is long winded, but the point is you simply aren't at your prime when you're driving impared. Be it high, drunk, sleep deprived, etc, you shouldn't on the road in that state as you increase the risk for everyone else. I urge you to reconsoder before you hurt yourself or someone else.

I agree with some of your points, but I you should try rewriting your age gap paragraph. It's very hard to understand and in your 15/18 year old example I think you end up saying the opposite of what you intend.

Also pedophilia has a specific definition and is not interchangeable with underage. It's specifically for prepubescent attractions.

Do you differentiate between people who purchased their pets vs rescue, or do you see all pet owners as the same?

I think owning pets in our modern urban lives doesn't make sense like it used to, but I have always had pets and do enjoy them. Every single one has been a rescue though. I could not personally justify supporting breeders and pets as an industry.

If you're into, or don't ming getting into self hosting, I use iSponsorBlockTV. It keeps tabs on all the Chromecast or smart TVs in your house and automatically sends skip commands when you get to in segment ads.

I have Premium so I don't have regular ads, but I belive it can do that as well and if not, pairing it with a traditional DNS blocker like a piehole should do the job.

Yup, Valve is still in it for the money of course, but the customer really does come first. I've used their support a few times and they've always been stellar. I will always buy Valve products.

There are a few, the sofabaton is probably the closest to the cheaper harmony remotes, but it's configured via an app that requires login so not sure how long that will last.

There are other companies that are targeting the high end remotes too ($300+) but they all appear to be based on android and get very poor battery life.

I love Thunder. Have it set up with the small UI, feels like I never left Relay.
