  • OP here. I do in fact confess that I share a YT Premium subscription with a friend, though I myself eschew the bog-standard YT apps with those patched using Revanced Extended just because of long-standing QoL issues on said regular apps.

    • LADB for running ADB commands remotely.
    • Revanced Extended YT and YT Music for dodging all of bog-standard Youtube's annoyances.
    • APKMirror and APKPure for downloading region-restricted apps.
    • Obtainium for keeping track of FOSS/sideloaded apps updates.
  • And the "Mobile Services Manager" app seems to come pre-installed on carrier Android devices from Samsung and Motorola (i.e. bloatware), at least when bought from carriers in 'Murica. That "Mobile Services Manager" bloatware is meant to auto-install and update even more bloatware that carriers want to see installed on their carrier Android phones.
