  • The handrail is just the top part that’s the rail. The banister is the entire structure, including the Newell posts, the balusters (the smaller, vertical posts that run under under the handrail— which, together, are called a balustrade), and the handrail together.

It is customary to refer to the entire structure and to refer to it as the banister, unless you are speaking about a specific part of it. Honestly, the last time I used the word balustrade, it was to either talk specifically about the balusters I saw on a particular staircase, or I was talking to a contractor.

Diagram: (note: individual posts in a balustrade are known as balusters. The term balustrade refers to all of them together, supporting a rail.)

  • Sonarr and Radarr for downloading tv shows and films, renaming them to a standard naming format, then moving the files to their proper drive/folder,etc. I just add a TV show or movie to the queue, and it will automatically download each new film and or episode as soon as it becomes available.

  • It’s probably referring to the era past when Zuckerberg was an up-and-coming CEO and was still doing a bunch of new things, and when almost all of social media growth revolved around Mark Zuckerberg. Now we’re in an era where he’s an establishment tech CEO. The stuff he does now is less about innovation and more about driving blind profits.

  • It has been my experience that attacks by extremists typically are accompanied by some sort of statement. In this case, the perpetrator simply fled. It’s just speculation at this point, but it sounds like this may be unrelated.
