It's not can't, it's won't. Tax companies like TurboTax pay a lot of money for lobbying to keep the IRS from making it free and simple

The only subscriptions I am willing to pay for:

Phone bill - no choice
Internet bill - no choice
Insurance - no choice
World of Warcraft - sue me
Costco membership - worth it
VPN - worth it

I don't pay for any others. Paid for lifetime Plex for the convenience of not needing to pay for a website domain like I would for jellyfin, and self host my own music, tv, and movies

Yep, their free servers are great for trying out the service and web browsing if you don't it being slow, but none of the free servers are p2p enabled. Only paid servers have p2p

What are you even going on about? Proprietary Nvidia graphics drivers updates are released at basically the same time as the windows version, and amd has always worked flawlessly. I have 2 2k 144hz monitors with HDR and both work and look just as good on Linux as on Windows.

The only issues with high dpi monitors is that some apps don't both detecting the monitor dpi and need to be adjusted manually... but there are very few that that is still an issue for, and windows has the same problem because it's an app problem not an OS problem

Hot take: I think ow2 is actually a pretty fun game to play in terms of gameplay still, they just made a lot of bad decisions for ow2. The loot boxes to battle pass is a horrible money grab change and I refuse to get the battle pass, the nixing of pve is stupid since that was the whole reason behind their lack of content for a few years, and dropping to 1 tank means 1 person now can determine the whole fate of the team basically. The only upside to ow2 is that queues are much faster now

Definitely a great game. Recently had a pretty big update adding enemies and combat that has been fun so far but you can also just disable combat mode for a chill time building your swarms/spheres
