Because the Russian Federation is a belligerent nation undermining EU institutions¹, carrying out acts of sabotage on EU soil², threatening nuclear war regularly³, threatening to reconquer EU member states⁴, and conducting genocide in Ukraine⁵.

And that is not to mention that actions taken by Kremlin assets in the US and Hungary.

Earlier in the morning, Israel announced it had intercepted one of two rockets coming from Lebanon, the second time in a week that rocket fire was directed towards it, after three rockets were fired at the town of Metula on 22 March.
