  • The reason they want more H1B visas is to drive down the wages. People like Musk and Trump, in addition to high cost of living is why I didn't apply for H1B, even though US simply has more opportunities for someone like me than anywhere else in the world. But there is no point in having a job, if the wage is insufficient.

    More H1B visas might be beneficial to people like me, but in the long run it could be hurt everyone except business execs.
