  • Ip address isn't tied to the house, but the subscriber.

But most ISP don't have static Ip for private customers, so you experience just suddenly being banned because you received an Ip address someone got banned.

  • It is relevant though, since the issue of it being animal abuse or not is central to the whole thing.

Is it not animal abuse? Then what has happened in this post is correct.

Is it animal abuse? Then this post shows that the admins will roll over if they get enough push back from a group of users.

  • No, people are down voting it for being a bad argument, because humans can in fact make the choice not to take those tablets or get those injections.

But these cats that are forced a vegan diet can't.

Oh sure, they could choose to not eat, and die a bit faster than they would on the vegan food, but no animal will choose to ignore food when they are hungry.

  • What I like about having the Bluetooth connection to the app, is mostly just to see when the water has come up to temperature.

But that was apparently too much to ask, since it says that they are also removing the Bluetooth functionality from the app...

  • Yeah, I'm in the same boat.

I'll have a lot of tabs open with documentation and such as I'm working on things, but at the end of the day they are all either bookmarked if I need to continue the next day, or closed as I close my browser.

Then we have people like one of the consultants we have, that has 100+ tabs open, in several browser windows (different profiles), at all times. I wonder how much money we've wasted on him just by waiting for him to find the right tab when he wants to show us something in meetings...

  • Since no one told me this, I will trek people:

If you go for codium, be warned that one of the big points of vs code, extensions, gets a lot more of a hassle.

One of the things you lose is access to Microsofts extension store, and they've added their own instead, and that one is missing a lot.

If you want extensions from the Microsoft store, you need to download them manually from the website, and keep them updated manually.

  • The thing here also is that I can't see that they have taken into account that they deliver data center services globally.

So say that my company have 100 VMs in azure. That energy usage should count for our company and country, and not Microsoft.

  • In this case (according to the donation page), he is part of the reason they are in this mess, as his mom is unable to find employment since everyone thinks she drove him to the protest where he shot those people.

  • Do cardholders count for this? Because here everyone has at least that, even gen Z.

Much of that is because payment with phones haven't really taken on for physical payments, since Apple and Google pay don't support our payment system, Bankaxept, yet.

There is support on the way though, so this will likely change.

  • Note that with just pihole you would still be affected by this, since pihole needs an upstream dns server to get it's data from.

But if you set up pihole with unbound you will be OK, since unbound then will do the job of getting data from the root servers without another upstream dns.

I my experience it is also faster.
