  • My exact question. I saw season 1 when it aired but life happened and I never came back to watch the other seasons. Tbh i thought it was over at this point.

Anyone wanna give me the motivation to binge the next four seasons? Did the show mature?

  • As a developer, I don’t see the issue?

They clearly didn’t cover username validation or at least to the extent of matching words, the devs fixed the problem within 40 minutes of the report (pretty great timing imo), and they have since implemented actions to avoid further issues.

What’s the fucking problem?? It’s still new as fuck, these things happen.

  • Some dumb country singer apparently put out a new piece of shit glorifying and encouraging violence against people protesting for a better life for all.

I don’t know the name, don’t care to either. Just another conservative bigot

  • I truly expected to slog thru it so my trek library could be complete and entirely watched. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! Definitely a comfort series for me now like lower decks is - chill authentic trek

not going with the team that actually reconstructed the art style

Ah, that is a bit of a shame. Are there any screenshots or something or just word of using a different team?

  • Yeah I feel that, I ran out of my student plans long ago so now I sail the seas lol.

I was happy to pay but as we all know prices continue to rise regardless of content holes/droughts/deserts. Maybe the thing you want is on a streaming service you pay for, maybe it was on there last week but no longer, etc etc.

Fuck you corpos, you’re taking money out of your own pockets!

  • I'm not sure that's a fair comparison, as spotify/apple music provide much functionality google/YT music does not.

Here is an article from May of this year that touches on concept I'm trying to raise here:

YouTube Music vs Spotify: Can Google even compete?

    https://www.androidauthority.com/youtube-music-vs-spotify-1120611/

They are different products for different use-cases that overlap in core areas (in my opinion). With that said, I'm slightly surprised as it does package in video ads as well but it's probably just because Google can subsidize with the established overarching userbase they have.

  • In 2014 a standard premium plan was $10 for one person, a family plan (6 people) would cost you $15.

Historically not bad to have a single dollar increase over nearly 10 years.

Apple Music is one dollar above, 10.99 for one persion, 15.99 family, so it's a fairly consistent pricing model for the big players anyway.

Apple Music is the one streaming service I pay for and it's because it fits in better with my tech ecosystem than alternatives.

A real damn shame the rest of streaming services can't agree on fair and consistent pricing.
