Yeah, I do that in the other plots, but I tried to make something a bit more colourful on these, plus on the drivers, there would be repeated colours for the 2 drivers of all other teams.
I might do images and gifs in individual albums, yeah, so you can see the progression and also check out the details. Need to find a way to automate that process, though, because it will be annoying to do.
Yeah, but they do conduct a lot of business in Europe, so if Andretti could get them interested, the EU could certainly get involved. FOM would certainly fight it on jurisdiction, but I would like to see that one play out.
They might certainly try to use the same principle against FOM, but I think FOM's analysis is only on the commercial side, so it could be less useful. I have always thought that their best course of action would be using anti-competition arguments, especially because the EU is very strict about it.
But maybe they also know that barging in using their lawyers would have long-lasting consequences in a sport where having friends is pretty important.

I did that in the first go. However, once things started moving about as the gaps went up and down, it became impossible to follow in gif format. I quickly lost whatever I was focusing on, so I thought that knowing where things will be in the next would help with getting the ebb and flow of the gaps.

A double Pirelli test session took place today, spread between Monza and Fiorano, to work on the development of the 2025 F1 tyres. In Brianza, after Mercedes and Red Bull were busy yesterday, the Racing Bulls took to the track with Liam Lawson, already seen at the wheel of the RB20 yesterday. On the Ferrari track, it was Oliver Bearman who worked at the wheel of the SF-24.
Lawson, a day full of obstacles between rain and technical problems
In Monza, the second day of Pirelli testing was scheduled to continue the work on slick tyres that began on Tuesday. However, it rained during the night at the Autodromo Nazionale and so the day began with damp asphalt and consequently intermediate tyres mounted on the Racing Bulls VCARB01. The track gradually dried out, allowing the switch to slicks, but work was interrupted in the early afternoon due to an engine problem on the car. The day ended with 76 laps completed and a best time for Lawson of 1:22.530.

Bearman, work in the wet despite the sun
By a twist of fate, the Pirelli test program at Fiorano was focused on the development of new solutions for wet and intermediate tires. In this case, however, the sky was clear and the artificial irrigation system that the Ferrari circuit is equipped with wet the asphalt, as expected. After a few laps in the dry, Bearman then spent the day working in simulated rain conditions, completing 167 laps of the track, just under 3 km long.
Pirelli Fiorano Test
The Pirelli test calendar still includes numerous appointments for this year, with the work of the sole supplier of tyres for F1 that will be divided on two fronts: on the one hand, they will still work on the 2025, on the other, they will begin work on the first prototypes of the 2026 tyres, with sizes slightly smaller than the current ones. For the 2025 tyres, the next commitment is scheduled at Magny-Cours on 1-2 October with Mercedes on the track, while for the 2026 tyres – as we had already reported – the honour of the first test will go to Aston Martin, on the track in Barcelona on 17-18 September.
