Not at all, i just think FDR was more complex than people make him out to be. He wasn't so much the savior of working class people as he was someone who placated both sides to achieve the best possible outcome. But given the vitriol he inspired from the wealthy its easy to see why he is still so revered by the struggling masses to this day.

But who is the responsible party here? Who first began spouting out rhetoric of annihilation towards a whole ethnic group? Zionists, go back to theodore herzel and the original middle eastern terrorist groups Haganah, palmach and lehi who were responsible for dozens of violent attacks and killed an estimated 6-8000 Palestinian jews, Christians and muslims as well as occupying British forces. In the years before the israeli occupation began These terrorist groups were then simultaneously condemned by the newly established israeli government while their military absorbed their leadership and members into their newly formed military apparatus.
Im not saying hamas’s actions are any less awful, but international law does state that indigenous populations have a right to defend themselves by any means necessary and they are clearly defending themselves when you see the ratio of casualties was in the 20 to 1 range and that was before Israel used the 10-7-23 attack as pretense to unleash an all out annihilation of the Palestinian population in gaza and around other settler projects as well.
Israel bears responsibility here and ignoring this while saying “hamas is bad” and “do you condemn hamas” just shows a level of ignorance that is astoundingly absurd. When israel is clearly guilty of rhetoric and actions that are objectively worse but holding hamas to a standard that israel is free from being measured against. What planet are we on here?

I think what you're proposing is indeed a more truly decentralized model.
But ultimately the real world is where we need progress and as long as the internet (and language as a whole) exists there will be actors attempting to manipulate the narrative to their benefit by any means possible.
I do think democracy can be subject to manipulation regardless of ones ideals of altruism. Sometimes people are not adequately educated and then their input into a democratic system only serves to harm the collective. It may be time for new models of governance within society and communities wherever they may exist.

One can draw parallels between capitalism’s failures and the successes of authoritarian socialist/ communist regimes without praising authoritarianism. One can also condemn authoritarianism while also acknowledging that one form of authoritarianism will be or is worse than another.
The only solution would be the women rising up and stealing their husbands and brothers guns to foment a violent revolution. Sure some will probably be killed in the uprising but I'm sure it will end quickly because it would be very inconceivably stupid of the men to kill such a large number of women, then whom would they procreate with?

I call fascism fascism and that is what we now have, the intersection of corporate and military industrial power controlling our government and using their media outlets to spread propaganda. Fascism is marked by; the protection of corporate power, the suppression of labor power, controlled Media disseminating propaganda, disdain for human rights, disdain towards intellectualism, unification over a scapegoated class of people as a common enemy, rampant corruption and cronyism/nepotism, obsession with crime & punishment, powerful displays of nationalism, government and a preferred
religion intertwining, normalized sexism, glorification of militarism, a surveillance state with militarized police forces who use secret police under the pretense of national security, and fraudulent elections. These are all the defining characteristics of fascism. And the only one of those you can argue may not be present is the last one but i would even argue that its very likely our national presidential elections have been fraudulent ever since FDR died.
Need to attack the problem at the root, corporatism which is a synonym of fascism. Personally I don’t see a solution to fix things that doesn't involve violent revolution. Even if enough of the bottom 70% of workers could all get together and strike, at minimum 35% of the bottom initiating a general strike that will continue until terms are met. But even then i feel that will lead to violent militarized suppression from the owner class who will force people striking to work. Those in power have made a real mess of things.
