  • I'd just like to point out the rumor from the Steele dossier wasn't that Trump got peed on by prostitutes it's that he paid them to pee on a bed that the Obamas had once slept in which is somehow weirder to me.

  • Not to mention the patent for heated build platforms wasn't filed for something like 4 years after the first heated bed was put to use. Stratasys only has the patent because that bought the company that filed it last year.

Also the heated bed was first put to use in 2010 as a way around the stratasys patent on heated build chambers, they never even thought to heat only the best.

  • Modern ones are, all the supercar manufactures have taken a device that you could never guarantee wouldn't just catch on fire, or breakdown, or for that matter even start up and turned them into appliances.

  • Aside from what's already been mentioned there's the Qidi plus 4. Reviewers seem to like the newer Qidi printers but I have no clue how closed off their ecosystem is. Also seems to be about the price seems to be 800 usd which is cheaper than a Prusa but more expensive than some of the other options given.

  • I'm not disagreeing with you but Destin from smarter everyday had a video where he did a ride along in an Air Force fighter jet and by far the least interesting part of the video was when they broke the sound barrier and were flying super sonic. They were up at like cruising altitude though so that's the main reason it was mostly uninteresting.

  • I don't even think it's limited to the cheaper brands. I thought I heard about Samsung (or some other similarly large vendor) TVs connecting to networks their servers knew about for updates and stuff all of course without your interaction/consent. I might have just read that as a possible future thing though it was a while back that I saw it.

  • Lgr did a video 6 years ago where he threw Ms dos 6.22 onto a modern gaming PC just for the hell of it. It has some issues with booting but he it ran. PC specs were a ryzen 5 1600x with a 980ti. And at some point in the video you can see on the monitor he's using that it was using HDMI.
