  • This is wrong, he free climbed the dawn wall but definitely did not free solo it. Every photo from that article shows him climbing with ropes and google more into it he definitely didn't free solo that face of El Cap.

  • I wouldn't look for voron stuff at Microcenter unless you feel like there's no better option. The few times I've seen the stuff they sell it all looks like older outdated versions of the parts.

  • I think it depends entirely on the card, I've seen some cards for sale for absurd money but it's mostly the rare or high end cards. There might still be value in the low end stuff, the vintage computer scene is weird.

  • The price things gets me too. I was actually talking about this with a coworker a couple months ago. I live alone so I'm not doing nearly the amount of laundry that some people are doing but even then that last bottle of laundry detergent I bought cost me like 9 bucks and took a bit over 2 years to go through. I think I'm fine spending 4.50 a year on my laundry supplies.

  • "Everybody is a Ferrari fan, even if they're not; they are a Ferrari fan. Even if you go to the Mercedes guys and they say, 'Oh yeah, Mercedes is the greatest brand in the world,' they are Ferrari fans."

  • 50 bucks actually gets you a ticket to watch on an old CRT hanging in a bar in Reno. The good news is it somehow also covers one night at circus circus, the bad news is it doesn't include anyway to get between Vegas and Reno and your definitely going to miss the race if you have to drive between them.

  • As others have said they're more luxury oriented but they still do have performance models but they do have a history in sports car racing.

GM had been using them successfully for racing versions of their sedans since 2004, they have their lmdh program that's been running since like 2017, and lately they also have prototype program from 2000-02 that competed in ALMS but didn't go anywhere because the Audi R8 was to dominate at the time.

  • The ram ceiling is still there but the lowest it goes on any 64bit version of 10 or 11 is 128gbs. Anything SKU above the home versions can address at least 2tb of RAM, which is probably enough.

  • I was like 99% sure you were wrong because the 32 bit versions were limited to 4gb but looking up and yeah all the versions of 7 have a ram cap the depending on which SKU you were running. 192gbs was the max for 64 bit professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate. This is the full list for just Windows 7.

    • Windows 7 Starter 32-Bit 2GB
    • Windows 7 Home Basic 32-Bit 4GB
    • Windows 7 Home Basic 64-Bit 8GB
    • Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit 4GB
    • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit 16GB
    • Windows 7 Professional 32-Bit 4GB
    • Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit 192GB
    • Windows 7 Enterprise 32-Bit 4GB
    • Windows 7 Enterprise 64-Bit 192GB
    • Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit 4GB
    • Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit 192GB

The top SKU for Windows Server 2008 r2, which was the server counterpart of Windows 7, supported up to 2tb of RAM.
