You guys still check notifications? I have Infinite Scroll of notifications I never care enough about to spend time on doing anything about.

Out of my 10000 notifications I ignore, there's one message... and that's from the LinkedIn team.

I hope they know DMs aren't secure on Fediverse.

C++20 is cool. Need to check if modules are allowed on this Qt when using vcpkg. I need to pass a proper compiler profile at least. This is more of the OS's package management issue than a Qt issue at this point, if I understand it correctly.

10 years ago, my workplace forced me to use Gnome 3 (was horrible) and Wayland (was horrific then).

I can't understand why people still use FB with that mess of ads and promos. It operates like a scammer at this point: they actively select people who interact with low quality information.

Their interaction with mods makes no sense to me. It even feels like they don't have the concept of privacy, safety, etc.

It's as if they live in a country where GDPR does not apply, privacy doesn't exist, people are just tools to each other, and so on.

I'd give up tasks. I've used only google tasks tbf, but task management deserves a separate app / service.

I hadn't minded it if it were on the center. As you know, it was actually somewhere around the center, changing its position every time I added an icon or whatever in the taskbar. And they were proud enough to call it a UX revolution. WTAF...

Your argument bent my logic for the sake of making it weaker. Please counter my argument without altering it, and I indeed admit it's imperfect. But this particular lineage of comments is not constructive at all.

Package management deserves more love on Debian, indeed. Yet they apparently have the largest collection of packages...
