Exactly. Israel (and the US) will bully Iran but it’s not going to turn into WW3, as some commenters are suggesting. Iran just isn’t very threatening militarily anymore.

Honestly product placements in shows often made them feel more real. Yeah they’re drinking Coke…that’s what me and my friends do too. Products are already placed all over my house.

As shitty as this is, I think Iran is a paper tiger. Israel has been beating the shit out of them for years now. I don’t think they’re going to be able to successfully counterattack in any meaningful way.

Big difference this term is that Trump has his team locked in, there’s consistency to the approach and commitment to their evil goals. The first term we were measuring tenures in mooches, this term there have been barely any departures so far. That lets them push and push and push.

I was a juror on a trial where a camera was used to record a purported crime from a helicopter. The camera quality was no joke, I could make out the individual buttons on the guy’s shirt. I don’t doubt they could ID people from the chopper.

A judge may issue a stay potentially reversing Trump’s order sending in troops. Yes it may eventually be overturned, but those orders do succeed in delaying things when it comes to future military actions. The delay is still useful.

Lots of “unwritten rules” that most presidents have followed historically. Just takes one person who doesn’t give a fuck about the rules to break the whole system wide open.

Trump has not been as badly damaged as people think, his approval rating has already recovered quite a bit. People have the memory of fruit flies.

Out of curiosity how does one nationalize a company like SpaceX? Do they have to be willing to sell themselves to the US Government?

I know peertube is the fancy right way to self-host videos, but does anyone just post movie files directly to their website anymore? Seems pretty easy to throw mp4s into a folder on your web server…
