look the whole point of this thread is that if you didn't want to respect somebody's pronouns then just don't interact with them or report them if you think they are genuinely trolling, not encourage them. if you don't do that so your giving trolls what they want and hurting trans people who do identify with those pronouns.

I love how this gets posted for community members, in a meta community, talking about how to engage with our space to not get banned, and then every loser from all comes in here like "umm actually you can't police my speech and umm pronoun bad" and promptly gets banned for being transphobic and breaking the rules that this post said will be enforced.

the mods and admins are doing a good job here, thanks for all your hard work you put in to make one of my favorite spaces on the internet as wonderful as it is.

I respect all people pronouns, but real quick here's a list of people's pronouns I don't respect -op

i mostly agreed untill i saw those z folding screens that can unfold to tablet full tablet size with a perfectly usable experience as a phone, its expensive as heck, but if i bought a flagship phone and a tablet, it would probobaly cost as much.

i have had the same issue on multiple clients, multiple devices, it does not happen on other instances, if i convert the image from webp to another format it then uploads fine. i dont have anything to add other than im experiencing this too.

this is dumb, you still have to parse info either method of interacting with the site, its just slightly diffrent, some people can just filter out info they care less about a little better. if anything has to do with the so called divide between generations (i always call bullshit on this, people are far to complex to be put in these boxes) it may have to do with how people first started interacting with the internet. people who have been interacting with the internet for longer may be more accustomed to the fourm style of website, where as people who started using the internet on their phone may be more accustomed to the app style layout. it mostly boils down to learned ways of interacting in online spaces, not how old you are in my opinion.

yeah i have a friend, they only play the same 3 games, web browse, and talk to a like 2 people on discord. they could easily move over to linux/matrix and never notice the difference, i have offered to help them several times, but they just dont wanna do something different. they know how their computer works already, why change it? i argue that there really isnt much of a change, but its enough to completely dissuade them.
