We updated the filtering logic in 2.0 to make it more reliably filter keywords around punctuation, but it looks like that broke multi-word filters. Sorry about that, we'll have it fixed in the next build!
The leaf indicates a new account (<30 days old). We also have an issue open for a setting to always display the age indicator, for which we'd probably need some new symbols :)
Mlem is written in SwiftUI, which unfortunately is not compatible with Android. There are some promising projects to port Swift apps to Android, but nothing mature enough that we could feasibly support both platforms, though we’d like to if/when the cross platform Swift ecosystem matures enough for that to be realistic.
Haha not yet, though there are some promising transpiler projects to bridge SwiftUI over to Android—nothing’s mature enough yet to make supporting both platforms viable, but it’s only a matter of time.
We’re hoping to have it out within the next week or two. There are a couple minor bugs we want to squish before the final build goes out and we have a volunteer working on localizing the app to French; apart from that, we’re pretty much done all the dev work on it so it’s just testing and polish.
Thanks for the bug report! As nokturne mentioned, we are tracking this one—it’s been a known issue with iOS for years. We’re still trying to identify a workaround.
Does this behavior only happen when using the Markdown editor, or can you reproduce it in other contexts (e.g., typing in search)?
