it's an extremely good podcast, plus they lost their sources so if you're interested in a specific part, you can read up on it. i will say that some of the episodes are hard to get through. dark humor can only help so much, lol. but it's a great way to learn stuff you might not have been exposed to. if you're interested in that, you also might like Blowback. first season is the Iraq War, second is the unofficial US war with Cuba.
Meclizine is an antiemetic that works far better than Dramamine, imo. You can find chewable tablets, but it's far cheaper and more efficient to just get the pills. I get migraines + have IBS, so I'm constantly nauseous. (And have emetophobia, so I'll do anything I can to avoid it.) It doesn't make you drowsy like Dramamine might, either.
unironically thought about getting a SpongeBob TV like this to replace my busted one. it was $20 new, but i didn't have enough room to set it up. those things have a really thick back.
"Something wrong? Must've been night shift!" i had to quit working for medical reasons, but i was so thrilled that my leaving fucked them in every sense of the word, because i picked up all the jobs and extra shifts no one else wanted. true satisfaction.
my dude, most people aren't okay with those things... that's the reason shelters and aid programs exist, and why people protest in the street. just because the current geopolitical system is fine with those things, doesn't mean people are. the people ruling those systems are a very, very small percentage of the population.
correct. also daylight savings and the 12-hour clock is bullshit. we should at least have Greenwich/UTC as a secondary clock, kinda like how some regions have their own calendar and have the Gregorian calendar as a secondary.
i haven't used Reddit since the big migration, and quit Xitter way before then. i still use YouTube a lot, but use NewPipe instead of any app or webpage. can't stand Discord either way, but use it for a couple MMO guilds i'm in. it sucks that the shitposting scene on Masto isn't as big as Xitter, or maybe i'm not looking in the right places. (i know jorts.horse has some good posts on their local, but i don't wanna move from my instance.)
