My tastes are too niche and my hobbies are too diverse. I don't expect anyone to get me anything at this point because I'm "so hard to shop for", so cash is way better than nothing, and frankly often better than the useless garbage people get me when they're trying to guess.

Heroic is a FOSS launcher that's straight up better. They use a sponsored link to get some kickbacks when you buy GoG games thru their launcher. Seems worth doing every once in a while in order to donate to the actual best launcher for non-Steam games

For real. Digital Choose Your Own Adventure type books are fun if that's what you're trying to buy, but Doom is about gameplay

There are certain stories where a good amount of the first-time enjoyment is trying to guess the outcome/twist, like murder mysteries. IMO it really depends on the story structure.

Yes legalize. It shouldn't have been banned to begin with. It makes more sense to ban alcohol than cannabis if we're just talking from a public safety perspective. It was actually banned because the lumber industry wanted to chop down trees for paper rather than letting hemp take the lead.
