  • As a past retail worker. Black Friday was miserable. I worked at Bestbuy. I saw a lot of people breakdown and quit thay day due to the stress. Don't encourage it. If you do go out. Be respectful and remember it's just things that don't really matter. I have never gone out and don't support it especially the trickling of businesses forcing employees to work on Thanksgiving.

  • Yeah Gmail is the hardest. Just for the sheer amount of logins. Been with it was an invite only beta in like 2005. I got a paid proton account but it's hard to shake it because I'm constantly needing to log back in with it.

  • Pop_OS! Is the one I chose to finally move full time to Linux. I have zero regrets. It's been great

  • Thanks. I lost access to my original steam account from like 2005ish over a decade ago that had this... Awesome!

  • Fwiw, I switched to Linux a couple months back (pop_os!) and I've been very happy. I've had some minor issues (random gaming proton crashes, os freezes) and some learning experiences. Occasional fiddling with stuff seems required but not an every day thing. The benefits of Linux vastly outway the minor issues.

  • Yes, I have a wood burning fireplace just seemed like a good idea.

  • Lol. Legitimately.

  • So many orphaned branches... Poor things.

  • She was the candidate with so little enthusiasm of the voters. That still lost to drumpf with almost 3 million more votes...

  • Not sure entirely about that. Nazis were still a party that held up to 44% of seats in the reichstag (before they were all nazi) with like 6 different parties. Hitler wasn't isolated. The population voted for him and his party. Hindenburg didn't like Hitler but essentially passed away at a terrible time and Hitler outplayed Papen who was meant to keep him in check. Hindenburg felt he had to since they had the closest to a majority in the reichstag.

"In the end, the president, who had previously vowed never to let Hitler become chancellor, appointed Hitler to the post at 11:30 am on 30 January 1933, with Papen as vice-chancellor.[91] While Papen's intrigues appeared to have brought Hitler into power, the crucial dynamic was in fact provided by the Nazi Party's electoral support, which made military dictatorship the only alternative to Nazi rule for Hindenburg and his circle. • I've been using smart launcher for I don't even know now. A decade. It's great.

  • And I'm pretty sure that was a German AA tower from the WW2 era. This is a much better purpose.

  • I made an account this week.. first time since June 3rd. I used it for 5 mins. Saw ads in the comments I was typing a response to. Deleted the account. The few niche communities I want are just not worth it. Reddit is dead. That was the final test. It shall diminish and go into the west.
