I stopped using protonmail as moving thr data out and exporting / archiving old emails is nightmare. I use simple mailbox.org and it's fine. I use on desktop pop3 and imap on mobile. I remove my emails automatically from servers older than 30 days

And you forgot: slavery. Sparta basically enslaved surrounding hellenic population ( so called hellots ). Many Athenian politicians were quite disgusted with the harsh conditions Spartans enforced on hellots. Basically they maintained "population control" by slaining hellots en masse when their population grew too much ( Spartans were somewhere around of 10-15% of their dominion )

Just take a look where most of these rare raw material resources exist and note what attitude these countries have to the environmental cause. Zero, none. You can always fork firefox. People used to use website not requiring javascript at all and it worked well. Some people still use even w3m f.e. when graphics card driver goes bad after update and they need to watch some docs on the internet. Most current browser have most features you would ever need
