They still do. There's so much shit in Windows 10/11that could phone home and shut down your install if you don't have a valid license, but Microsoft doesn't actually give a shit if you have a license or not. They just want to make sure you have their botnet installed and not any other OS.

A 6950xt is a sizeable card. You will need a fairly long case for it, hope case size is not a limiting factor in your decision.

I personally recommend the Corsair 4000D. I have one for my current Zen4/7900xtx build (the rgb airflow variant) and it was an absolute breeze to build inside, gobs of space everywhere.. RGB is optional because it's only on the fans and the non-RGB variant simply uses different fans. And all things considered it's not even terribly expensive - for the ~$100 the base 4000D costs, you get extremely high build quality.

Is there trim in the crease or it is a sharp corner? If there is trim and its not painted clean over, you can cheat and use paperclips. Fold the long leg out straight, so its horizontal, and the short U curl down at a 90, so it forms a hook. If you stick the horizontal wire in behind the trim itll usually wedge in without damaging the trim or paint visibly and hold enough for a cat5e.

If no trim, the sticky hangars are probably the best. Be careful not to buy cheap ones that might fall down, leave residue, or stick too hard and rip the paint off when you go to remove it.

I don't mind a bit of construction work. Wouldn't be hard to tear down the drywall in the bathroom and pack the stud walls with Rockwool soundproofing insulation. And also swap the door out for a double-thickness solid core sound-deadening door with a sealing sweep. That's like a couple weekend's worth of work max.

Regardless of how fast or slow you reversed the direction. Pretty much every weather pattern and ocean current on the surface of the planet would be thrown into a massive calamity. The Corolis effect and momentum imparted to surface fluids around our rotating ball is a huge, huge deal with weather flow, like the "jet stream". It directs how storm systems (the flow of water that all life depends on) form and track and which typical track they take as the rotation of the earth is constantly deflecting them. There would be huge, unending storm systems as existing patterns now crashed head on into new ones, with storm fronts spanning entire continents. Even after the storms subsided and it settled into a new normal after 20, 30, maybe 50 years... agricultural breadbaskets would be either destroyed, completely inhospitable to their original crops, or stranded in drought. And human civilization would likely fall with them.
