  • If you're fine buying slave-labor import, I found a "MECHEN M30 HiFi MP3 Player" on AliExpress for about $45 USD. Pretty good reviews all things considering. No wireless that I can tell, 256gb microSD support, headphone jack out.

These kinds of standalone "hifi" portable media players will be the only things that support memory cards and "no wireless" like you're asking for. And even then a lot of them include Bluetooth, if not just for remote control support, as well as audio out.

  • The radio gets worse the deeper you get into BFE, because often the only reliable radio stations you'll get out there are all AM talk radio stations that have been thoroughly bought out by Murdoch et al.

  • Maybe Trump shitting on everything and making Europe realize they don't need the approval of the US to breathe was the best thing that could have happened to Ukraine.

  • I'm not gonna lie, if you're having continuous driver timeouts that's probably a personal Windows issue. I had some issues with my 7900xtx until I just fresh installed Windows (despite the install only being a month old) and all those problems magically went away.

  • Their drivers are getting there. I have not heard many bad things about Battlemage's driver support beyond typical launch day bumps, and would consider buying one myself now honestly.

Their biggest weakness is that their entire architecture is built around dx12 and Vulcan, it has NO hardware level support for dx11/9 or older graphics API's. The largest problem Arc had at launch was it would run modern games decently, but even games a few years old would run at single digit framerates (if at all!) as their driver tried to translate older api draw calls into a newer API, and very poorly at that. They've apparently vastly improved that translation layer by now so it's no longer a problem.

  • They're also amazing pest control! You'll immediately find your yard completely free of grasshoppers, mosquitoes, cockroaches, and practically any other crawling think because those fuckers are vicious and will eat all of them.

  • Who knows, maybe Michael's will see the market opportunity and expand into fabrics.

Maybe not for a long while though, building that kind of inventory and supply chain takes a hell of a long time across 1200 individual stores, and the sheer square footage required to have the wide selection of fabrics needed in retail might not work for Michaels. My sample size is small but the Michaels I've been in are significantly smaller than the Jo-Ann's.

  • God I wish Bernie was 30 years younger.

  • m still hoping Trump’s doing some 4D chess

That man couldn't play chess on a straight line.

  • Most normal, well adjusted, and definitely not propagandized .ml user take

  • Michael's still exists. But they don't do nearly as much fabric stuff like Joann's does.

  • Well, after reading the article...

Borrenpohl said the turning point came when Rep. Ron Mendive, R-Coeur d’Alene, spoke...

So, actual GOP legislators were there, but not fully enumerated by the article's author.

  • I mean, in my area the town halls put on for our super based Oregon democratic senators to visit are typically scheduled/MC'ed by the county democratic party committee. Or at least assisted in some capacity. That's not unusual.

The suppression of dissent by the Republican's personal brownshirts is the unusual part. Focus on that.

  • The Hill obtained a photo of the screens in the HUD building as they video was playing.

Then doesn't show the photo. Bruh.

  • Looking at it's geographic location, the purpose seems semi obvious:

This is basically the perfect location to provide complete air support coverage to the Persian Gulf, and also a perfect refueling stop for any longer missions running into the Red Sea/Suez shipping corridor. It's also a dead straight line shot stopover for any flights going between mainland China and Africa.

The geopolitical military and logistics benefits are very significant for China.

  • Sublime can do all of that as well, but it's more performant, has better shortcut keys, and IMO it has much nicer navigation for larger files (gives you a sort of eagle-eye's view of the entire document next to the scrollbar). That's all very much a personal preference thing of course.

  • Distraction. Coke donated to Trump's campaign and inauguration funds as protection money.
