How can you not? Like there are specific tells as the other user pointed out, but aside from that so much AI slop just has this absurd uncanny valley quality that Im actually kinda blown away that other people don't immediately see it.
In what way? Alberta is politcally basically the polar opposite to my beliefs, and is holding the entire country back. California is still not nearly left enough for my tastes, but aside from some outlying rural areas generally is much more favorable to my political views. With the exception of trade barriers and the fact that money going to california still impacts the US GDP, generally speaking Id rather give my money to people with similar beliefs as myself, especily if those people are trying to take a stand against trump/other fascist politicians and not licking their boots and huffing oil fumes like danielle smith.
Thats way less than most places in the US and less than fucking doug ford got in ontario. Less than Pierre was polling canada wide too. So yeah, I'd rather trade with them than say fucking alberta which is also way higher conservative poll numbers.
Yeah i dont know what to tell you, i didnt do anything special but didnt have any issues with any of the lego games either on windows or native steamdeck. Actually i think lego the hobbit might have crashed twice during spliscreen, but both times were after at least 4+ hours of playtime, and my SSD was 90%+ full and I only have 16GB of ram and 4gb of VRAM so i think I chalked it up to a swap file/memory fault, but I've had the same issue playing other games for extended periods of time. Lego games actually seemed to be some of the most reliable in my experience. Not discounting your experience but i just wanted to give an alternate experience/possibility.
Prey (2017) was so fucking good and cool and innovative that I can't even be mad that it completely overshadows Prey (2006) which was also a really cool and innovative game from my memory of the time, although i haven't replayed it recently to see if it holds up.
I played skywalker saga through no problem, albeit on windows streaming theough moonlight to the steamdeck but it worked great. Alot of lego games actually, with no issues. Lego the hobbit, lord of the rings, lego harry potter, some straight from steamdeck some streamed from pc depending on hard drive space, but i didnt encounter any bugs or crashes with any of them so your mileage may vary.
I would love some split screen recommendations for myself and my almost gamer girlfriend. She loved all the lego games weve played, it takes two, sackboy, unravel, bg3, divinity, castles crashers, children of morta, idk lots of others but please feed me all your recommendations because theres never enough split screen.
Yeah but their computer is what had limited storage. Most phones these days have a lot more than 8gb. Idk like i said youre not wrong but i still got what they were trying to communicate.
Yeah but if youre using a lemmy app on your phone its significantly faster to just use your phone camera rather than having to share/transfer the file over somehow, or sign into lemmy on your pc. Im not saying you're wrong, but i get why someone wouldn't care for a quick throwaway post. Also storage then isnt an issue on the PC at all because the image is only on the phone.
I loved my car. Just had to scrap it recently. I got sad. I didnt go through withdrawal symptoms or feel like i was mourning a friend. You can appreciate something without building an emotional dependence on it. Im not particularly surprised this is happening to some people either, wspecially with the amount of brainrot out there surrounding these LLMs, so maybe bizarre is the wrong word , but it is a little disturbing that people are getting so attached to so.ething that is so fundamentally flawed.
If you actually read the article Im 0retty sure the bizzarre thing is really these people using a 'tool' forming a roxic parasocial relationship with it, becoming addicted and beginning to see it as a 'friend'.
I went through a period when i was a (pre)teenager where i thought it was funny to give the middle finger to the ceiling/corners of empty rooms in case there was a hidden camera there.
I mean what exactly is your point? Check your spam next time maybe? If you hadn't missed the interview you might have got the job. Thats how people get jobs online, by replying to postings, scheduling interviews, and attending the interview.
Most of those look worse in the bottom pictures tbh. A couple of the top ones look a little too bright and washed out, but the bottom ones just look low contrast and dark.
Maybe you taste good at least.
