Spain, under Franco had a yearly massive parade. When Democracy was reinstated, the tradition continued, but instead of celebrating the victory of the nationalists in the civil war, it became a celebration of the armed forces. It's still held, but it has steadily been downsized, to a mainly ceremonial and testimonial level.

It's been a couple of decades since I've lived in the states, but I used to watch some US TV, via satellite and later cable (TV through fiber, actually) I stopped watching US TV 2-3 years prior to COVID. I just can't stand it. Regular TV is pretty bad worldwide, but US TV is on another level of bad.

Is waterfox compatible with all or most firefox extensions? Also, can you import a firefox profile, and share between devices? I'm fairly invested in firefox, and would hate loosing functionality

They dont have to renege on anything. Just create a new variant, an let the original stsgnate. 5 years is an eternity in tech, so if an app is not updated in 5 years, it will be pretty useless.

There are many examples of software where the UI etc can be changed. I have never felt comfortable in GIMP's UI, but then again I'm much more of a vector guy.
