  • I was a partner at a Bio vegetable farm. As part of the business I was in contact with over 100 vegetarian /vegan restaurants (our main customers).

Early on I learned, from the owner of one of the oldest vegetarian restaurants in the business in our area, 20+ old (the restaurant) , that Vegetarianism is a dietary choice, veganism a cult.

I do Keto. When going out, or eating at someone’s, I do not make a fuss. If spaghetti is on the menu, I’ll eat it. My choice is not the others burden.

    Also, use Arch.

  • Governments are also often guilty of favoring funding towards their favorite causes. Not defending billionaires here, but pouring money into mediatic causes, while ignoring or underfunding less visible causes is definitely a thing.

  • When I was a kid, my grandma would send me to a nearby farm to get raw milk. It was then brought to a boil at home, the top skimmed, for making pastries, and then consumed. It was way better tasting than store bought, but it was boiled.

  • The strictly physical part: Imagine that sneeze that just doesn't want to come out, almost there, almost, almost... and the BAAAM! Or when you are constipated, and you try to evacuate, and sit on the throne for half an hour and suddenly WHAM!! you are two pounds lighter. Multiply by 100

  • While I personally prefer this, I'm going to guess that the majority of people are generally not going to be using more than 2 or three usb ports at once. My take is that for most people, 2 Cs, an A, DP or HDMI would be optimal.

The availability of BT and wifi peripherals make this acceptable for many.

I still have a cutting plotter that uses RS232, but that's connected to an oldish desktop, on the network, so a laptop never gets connected physically.

I'm not saying that this is good, simply that this is probably acceptable for many.

  • Bullshit. Spanish bottled water is spring water, not filtered water. It is not oily, period. Give us lab data, proof. All bottled water must pass testing by independent labs. Water in coastal areas is often not great tasting, but 100% safe. This is because many networks are centuries old, and can have infiltration from seawater, but it's all 100% human safe. You'll find a ton of areas in Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands where tap water doesn't taste great. Water in Madrid, and other non coastal areas, for example is so good, it's often said it could be bottled and sold.

As for treatment, it's properly treated, it's not like in the US where you can get amoeba from tap water, or have flammable tap water!

  • Tariffs make companies able to compete better within the walled garden, but weakens their competitiveness worldwide. It creates a race to the bottom inside the garden, but makes them weak outside the border. They also makes prices increasefor the local buyers. Costs get passed along, it's not as if manufacturers are going to absorb increases, they don't need to. GM, Ford, Chrysler are all going to pass them on (as any domestic manufacturer)

  • Actually not. They CAN be repaired, but are a nightmare of soldered and glued shit. The only apple thing I own (Linux/Android/Win user) is an iPad, which admittedly is a sweet performer, and iPads are just plain better tablets, but no way I'm cracking it open. I've replaced Android screens, repaired laptops, but fuck apple. Not because of danger, but because breakage is almost guaranteed on newer stuff.
