  • Glad to see David Hayter is still the voice actor

  • Summer is my favorite part of the year in the US. Longer days, cool nights, lush greenery with beautiful skies, more activities to do outside, mangoes are in season, going to the pool, barbecues, basking in the sun and feeling the seasonal depression melt away.

I was born in the summer, maybe that has something to do with it.

  • Dunno how many people will still have machines they haven't already reimaged laying around.

  • Reaching narwhal bacons at midnight levels

  • Get them to cook dinner for the family once a week. Help em if they get stuck but that alone would set them up immensely.

  • I still have mine in in my 30's. I forget about them except when brushing since I don't want a cavity back there. There are a few times where I've actively tried using them and it's hard to tell they're being used

  • Whoa msn.com still exists. I guess for all the boomers that haven't moved on

  • All these gaming anti-cheats better become Linux compatible cause I'm definitely not upgrading to 11

  • For her sake, I hope she negotiated a cabinet position before jumping back on the trump train.

  • Sever your spinal cord so your body is paralyzed. Then you won't have to worry about pain.

This would be a wild situation though. Feels like human centipede levels of wild

  • Holy fuck whoever was in charge of setting up that disaster recovery needs a million dollar bonus. I get that they're managing $80B and this should all be standard but people usually don't listen to IT and take DR seriously. And even if you do set it up, are you going back to check that your backups are functioning properly and have alarms for when it messes up

  • It's all maintenance and parts data for an airline. Which is why if we do things right, there's a chance we could improve efficiency and lower carbon emissions. We own most the data as we're creating it, rest may be vendors

  • Centralized data storage that is more flexible than a data warehouse. Just a big ole database

  • We're building a data lake which is pretty boring. I try to keep myself inspired that maybe just maybe the optimizations gained from these data analytics will lead to a drop in our greenhouse gas emissions from this organization.

  • Are there any good voyager 2 documentaries that anyone would recommend? Looking at the pic of Neptune and damn it's crazy that they sent them so far and got great results

  • Two metal gear references: Arsenal gear and Outer Heaven.

And then the container ship company that blocked the canal, Evergreen

All having references to be able to hold many containers/weapons
