You're mistaken; the United States has no leftist parties.

i was going to say something like this: the democrats are already aware of what they need to do, they just won't since there's no riches or power to be had in doing so and the people who think that the democrats will help in any meaningful way are wearing rose tinted glasses created from the past.

to be fair: so too did the russian military dreadnought convoy not long after when they ran out of gas and their tires exploded from the pressure. lol

i'm seeing videos of people celebrating the iranian missile strikes throughout latin america on tiktok and rednote. you would think that, since they have no dog directly in this fight, they would be mildly interested at most; but they're literally dancing in the streets about it and i think it's signifies how the western hegemony is perceived by the world.

i also bet its one of the reasons why the united states is going to join this war; to prevent the momentum for this type of notoriety from further gaining ground.

tragedy is the right word, but seeing first hand how thoroughly how my government has propagandized my fellow americans, i can understand how the ukranians were likewise propagandized to believe that nato would ever allow them membership by pushing their government into doing so.

The thing you just understand about American politics is that extremely few pay attention beyond the headlines and most who do are labeled as tankies
