You know why Linux doesn't have this shit? Because it hasn't attracted the ire of the marketing team. Do you know why that is? Because the fraction of target users using Linux is TINY. It's not worth the expensive engineering effort, especially when you consider the demographic using Linux is unlikely to fall for this shit.

The more you win the "use linux" argument, the more the argument won't make sense. The day Linux gets enough user share to justify it, is the day all this shit starts happening on Linux.

Gas prices feed through to consumers by raising the cost of energy for everyone except those not using gas. So it seems reasonable to not double count it by adding it to the basket as well.

The only real gas consumers use is for heating and cooking - and that is very low volume compared to the impact on us from costs to producers going up.

Bit of an overreaction. Same-sex facility sharing has been a staple part of human society for thousands of years. We seem to have done okay so I'm not too worried or "horrified". I guess it's just not something you've come across so it seems unusual to you.

Depends I guess. They're cheaper to do the open style so in poor schools and sports facilities you tend to get them.

If you've been fortunate enough to go to decent schools and not played sports outside of well funded institutions then you probably wouldn't have come across them.
