pretty much every animation u see online nowerdays is a webm, i just think it would be nice if browsers would support the full feature set of it, it would allow to put captions over animations where the captions dont get compressed and hence would stay readable even at high compression

i mean yeah, its a honest loss of information, jpg on the other hand introduces compression artifacts that are basically hallucinations, meaning it pretends to have more data than it actually has and humans compensate for that thru image recognition and fantasy.

• First impression upper middle: The Rafale is looking cute and sleek, the side perspective sets emphasis on the form that was build to go fast.
• Middle right: Here we see the Rafale snoozing in the grass wich implies it is very comfy with operating from make shift airfields and dosent mind sleeping outside over night.
• Middle left: Using the hypothetical tongue of the airplane, the artist tryes to convey the warm and embracing feeling the plane give to the pilot when the flight suit gets pressurized with by the jets air compressor.
• Lower Left: Here can we see the Rafale playing with a Tree, probably a reference to the plane loving to fly ground hugging and nicking a treetop here and there.

They arent Ukrainians, what would make you think that. See the idea behind this picture in the first place was "we show off new gun development" aka "russia strong", added to that where this picture was taken and you have a geopolitical context. That not everyone strait out sees that they are russians....i would say furthers the meme because this makes it "slip thru" and gain some traction, if enough ppl see the picture they will ask themself "huh what is that creazy weapon" and then someone in the comments points out its "russias new mega blaster 9000 russia strong hahaha".

I dont even say that with the caption above it it aint making for a flat laugh...it probably does. But the issu is deeper, people would probably not laugh about a picture showing a American Drone strike with the caption "dropped a big one in the toilet" but concept wise its the same thing.
