  • Slip on / low top rain boots.

I thought I would use them for walks in muddy forests, but it's not usually muddy enough when I go to justify wearing them for a full hike, and they're not comfortable to walk in for long distances.

I also thought I would wear them around the fishing ponds, but I enjoy taking my shoes off and wading in anyway. I can just go further than the boots would allow.

  • I have enjoyed witnessing jean memes getting downvoted shortly after being posted, only to see them again later with a majority of upvotes. There's still some steam in these jeans after all.

  • Yes- less from my lemmy inbox and more from my irl inboxes, though. Because no news is good news.

  • Temporarily removed for the birth of her son

  • High quality shit post

  • That's exactly what I was trying to say. I was also a (very cautious) cyclist until my bike was stolen.

  • That's not "for absolutely no reason". Some cyclists make a bad name for the rest.

Edit: Oh my goodness, you guys. I'm not saying hate for cyclists is justified, that I hate all cyclists, or that "all cyclists do x". Some cyclists ride like they have a death wish. So do some drivers. Anyone, regardless of their vehicle, who is willing to put their life in my hands is someone I want to stay far the fuck away from.

  • If you saw the image it's already too late. Enjoy the pink eye

  • Canada here. For the very rare delivery order I make, I'll do 10%.

For takeout orders, 0, except from my favourite shawarma place because I like them and want them to stay around. They get 10%. Their prices are very reasonable to begin with, so much that I've thought they could charge more.

  • Did you know? "Nickname" is short for Nicholas Name

  • I just press the 2 minute button and out comes perfectly hot water every time

  • Can't say timing-wise, but I did notice once that the prices were higher when browsing on my phone than on a desktop PC.

  • Slowdive is way more chad than incel

  • It's kind of the perfect storm - supposedly simple enough for the average person to use (they can't), and restrictive enough for the dev that it's like being forced to type with oven mitts on. At least in my experience.
