  • People have private lifes. CEO‘s too. I don’t see why I should remotely care what the personal opinion of a CEO is. And I am deeply concerned that this is such a big deal, no matter what their opinion is.

If you have a personal problem with that, that‘s totally okay. Putting them on a stand, is not okay. Let them have an opinion. Debate if you disagree. But stop making such a scene out of everything.

  • It should be terrifying. Growing up next to a large river with lots of mountains taught me that the real danger is below the water. One (or many) large tree stumps at the wrong angle, and that bridge is gone in no time. There is no reason to experience all of this on a bridge.

  • I’m sorry to disappoint, but this will most likely not work. As soon as you make such a request, a session is created, which is stored in the cookie. And if they are real big asses, they only use the IP address to correlate the user to a session.

  • It looks nice, but honestly, once I set up everything (which I do on each of the *arr anyways), there is nothing left to be managed. That‘s the whole point of this setup, to get rid of managing things manually.

So even if I love that project and am very appreciative for all the work, I don’t have any use case in my setup that would want me to use this.

  • This is simply not true. Nitrogen is not the issue, CO2 is. If you breathe too much CO2, your body panicks.

So do it properly and the worst you get is a slight headache. But since you are „high“, you don’t care anymore.

  • Wayland 1.0 was released in 2012.

Now, 12 years later, it still is not production ready. I lost hopes long ago and rather stick to a security flawed but stable X11.

I am very glad with the proposal of the Frog protocol, as Wayland was dead before it could even walk.

  • Since you do not work with a hermetically sealed environment, it is totally enough to use duct tape to bridge different hoses. The goal is to have a steady stream of nitrogen which you can breathe for at least 60 minutes. Not that you need this long to die, but in cases like this, I would add 3-4 times the amount of safety, so you are clearly dead and not just a veggie in a coma.
