  • ITT: people so used to lobbying that they got convinced it's a necessary evil so that minorities and common folks can lobby as well.

It's clearly absurd. Many places call lobbying with its real name: corruption. And there are laws in place to fight it. Are they perfect? No. Is it then more effective to legalyze corruption? OF COURSE NOT ARE YOU INSANE?!?

  • Sure, or you could send an email to the leading international institution on the matter to get a very accurate answer!

Is it the most reasonable course of action? No. Is it more reasonable than waste a gazillion Watt so you can maybe get some better keywords to then paste in a search engine? Yes.

  • There's video footage and a known location of the spot the guy shot from.

All this hesitation is telling me is that it's confirmed it was not a bullet but Trump likes saying it is and they don't feel like pushing against it.

As far as I can tell from the video there's not a moment where a bullet coming from his far right (heh) could have grazed his ear (that's particoularly close to his skull) without piercing his skull. He never turns that much to the right.

  • With this amount or active users it's not sustainable. I'm interested in broad topics and I try to chase the most active community for the topic, no matter the instance that hosts them.

The only meaningful sign of "community" I managed to identify is the tanky one, where it's palpable a radical difference with the very generic "everywhere else".

  • I'm considered an extrovert by some people but I consider myself more of an introvert.

In years of office environments I have come to the conlusion that most people will just spin a bunch of dices and decide if they like you or not.

I like almost all of my coworkers, lots of them seems not to reciprocate. I have given up trying to understand the reason, it's their own and trying to solve the puzzle has only ever brought me more suffering.

I focus on the ones that likes me and keep it professional with everybody else. That's it.

  • So in your "canon" no mage ever asks itself why rocks fall to the ground?

I mean it's a possible angle, overreliance on rituals and magic that sapped those people of any critical approach to reality...
