  • I see where you are coming from but degoogled chromium is ridden of the "bad" stuff that Chrome adds, it does nothing to actively fix what is unhardened in both Chrome and Chromium.

It's also the more relevant criticism, the entanglement of Brave with crypto, but within the chromium ecosystem, it IS the best you can get.

    I use arch firefox btw.

  • You are not wrong... I guess in both instance they came from the desire never to break the immersion through any kind of loading.

The weirder think to me is that it was made by the guys behing "Serious Sam", that basically mastered the open field shooter genre, which is kinda like the opposite of this game?

  • Let's simplify the "riddle".

It states: a number is 1 plus half that number.

What is a quantity that added to "half a number" gives the number? What do you add to 0,5 to make 1?

    The other half.

So we go back to the original statement: "a number is 1 plus half that number" and change it to "a number is half that number plus half that number".

If you go back and forth between the two you may notice that one the one side there is "1" and on the other "half that number".

$1 is half the cost, what is the total cost?

We leave the last step to the readers.

  • I work with engineers, a senior likes to ask the same question to people on their first day (how much does a brick weight that weight 1Kg plus half the brick) and I shit you not these people second guess themselves all the time.

Given, it's probably the pressure of being new to the job and having this guy put you on the spot, but I find this "riddle" really really easy so, maybe, go get that degree?

  • I've recently been to the Knosso Palace, in Greece, and it's littered with creative rebuilding based on hyped up hypothesis about stuff like "here they probably had rituals", "here they had advanced undreground pools for purification", and A LOT of the experience is wasted on clarifying that what you are looking at is fake and wrong.

    Also asbestos on the site.

  • The fact that I cant go to YT and select play all on a channel anymore makes its primary use, music, pointless to me.

This, my humorous fellow netizen, means:

Something AND something make the primary use (of said thing, YouTube), music (the specification of what is the primary use), pointless to me (such that I did not find said primary use any longer possible).

We know what you mean because we are charitable enought not to assume you think the primary use of youtube is music, but you fucked the wording up and I made fun of you for that.

What you wanted to say should have been phrased as it follows:

The fact that I cant go to YT and select play all on a channel anymore makes my primary use, listening to music, impossible.

Now if public school in your country were better funded, you'd understand that my poking fun of you also had a different implication: it's not that unreasonable for YouTube to stop people from sucking huge bandwith to stream videos just for the minimal amount of sound data attached.
