Well, it's a bit better than that, simply because you can train AI with solar power. Probably nobody does that currently, as it's easier, faster-to-market and probably (for whatever corrupt reason) cheaper for business to let it run on burning fossils/nuclear. Currently there's an insane amount of waste, often 1000s of models are trained and only the best performing one is deployed - and then it's just a fancy autocomplete. The better use is for prediction of material failure, new medicine and protein folding, generally improved processes.

With asbestos you get some convenience, but it'll be for eternity a pain to find a waste management facility that will accept it.

And of course all big "news" entertainment papers and shows are in on it because of access and money. I mean, they're all doing what they're paid for and the general public can't be arsed to be smart about it, call bullshit and cut off the value extraction because of perceived inconveniences (data harvesting = ability to manipulate/steer public opinion = value to sell to those seeking power & control). the populace is the commodity being sold here.

Was trying this, but I've had issues with the app not properly synchronizing with the server. Does that work for you and if so, what's your setup?

Was supposed to replace "Bring" and due to the issues, currently using grocy, where sync works, but is otherwise very tedious to manage inventory.

Make political advertisement / political messaging illegal on entertainment platforms. There's precedent for highly regulated TV advertisements, why is there such a broad exception for unregulated manipulative online advertising? Why is cigarette, religious, drug advertising forbidden but political lies and agendas allowed, endorsed even? Fines need to be 50% of monthly worldwide profit and increase by 5% for each month of noncompliance.

This simple legislation would instantly solve a lot of current issues with what's wrong and protect free, democratic nations.

Just dropping in to remind everyone, that there have been 2 assassination attempts on the 'grifting, criminal "billionaire"' in just the last 8 months and he's been hiding behind thick glass in public.

I don't think it will stop, because however many people you manage to manipulate via targeted brainwashing (social media), you create at least a few super angry, unpredictable folks with ever less to lose. And they all have guns.

Edit: Also, nothing stops someone with a gigantic grudge, patience and high motivation from joining a private security company, getting training, a gun, and placed directly in the vicinity of a potential target. Really, there's no good defense except not giving a ton of people reasons to want to get rid of you.

Interestingly, just due to the inclination of the executive branch to "get a conviction" fast, at any cost, it's actually pretty likely that is in fact "the wrong guy". The investigators will be under pressure to find someone, and will use available technology in an absolutely, horrendously wrong way just to get a "result" and use that as a justification to accuse random unlucky people. Of course, anyone with deeper knowledge of involved technology would know that, but they're not working for the ill educated LE operators.
