  • I'm surprised that MAGA and trumpism isn't just a kink play scene. The images are all an over the top fertile homoerotic muscleman. They are always talking about cuckolding and there's always some strange power dynamics at play. Throw in racist and sexist undertones and you got everything. You couldn't make it more of a kink power play / humiliation / cuckolding scene if you tried.

The fact it's a legitimate political movement is what is odd about it.

  • It's all fake is my guess. Neither party is either thing you are claiming to be. Kink play is just cops and robbers with your pants off.

  • Some social media has a schedule post for business accounts. You have to pay a certain fee to be a business account. So you can do it but you have to pay. The found that people are willing to pay for the feature so they won't give it away for free

  • It's like watching demons and devils fight. Hopefully they both lose

  • I'm hoping this is a stock image but you never know.

  • I've been playing on Wednesday nights with my regular group for multiple years now. It helps that we have a regular time and it's not a high activity day. However, it took a little while for my spouse to get used to it. Also it helps that we're flexible as a group. We play if 1 player is missing and will cancel / reschedule for vacations. Some of these cancels are non cannon play or other games.

    So flexibility really helps.

  • Dnd shops require a punny name, a reference or a strange hook. If not no one remembers them and they cease to exists.

  • I've had good luck with this seriouseats recipe that uses Dr. Pepper as a base. However I've only done it for at most 3 pounds of pork which takes 4-6 hours I think.

If you can get multiple crock pots try to split it up and maybe try some different sauces and recipes to make it faster and have people try multiple merhods

  • At the end of the day AI (no just the LLM we call AI now) are really good at doing boring machine work. These tasks are repetitive, simple and routine. This includes all the LLM which can summarize boring text and generate more boring text. It can't generate anything new but just output and rearrange.

What there will be always need for are human work. This includes creativity, emotions and human interaction. A machine can't replace that at all. Psychology and therapy are all emotions and human interactions so it might be the most safe career choice. Same with something like haircutting or other career that involve human wisdom and personal skills.

Boring jobs like sending and receiving emails might be replaced. The reason businesses are so scared is that the majority of people in an office just do that

  • I had a delicious Peanut Stew at a West African restaurant. It was savory, hearty and delicious. Peanuts are much more versatile than what they are typically used for

  • Yeah. I know when I worked in research I had something similar about anything created with company property. I know they sued someone who left and tried to sell a version of something they created at work and won.

But I know there was specific language about what was owned when working at your free time

  • The fact any employee feels like it has the right to what I go after work is insane. This means drugs testing, second jobs, only-fans/ porn or anything similar.

  • There's a lot of cultural forces keeping people at jobs. We're told to never quit from everything. We're told it in school, movies, sitcoms and stories so it feel wrong and bad to quit. Especially true for work. The Office made Josh Porter the villain for quitting a failing paper company for a senior position at a successful company. And that's a feel good sitcom

Not too mention that our work is highly tied to our identities to a fault. The classic first question you ask anyone is what do you do for work. Not too mention the guilt business put on people to come in because their coworkers have to fill in. Since most people like their coworker this feels like letting them down. But it's the company letting them down by not replacing you or staffing at the correct level.

So everything you are feeling is normal especially if you have never quit a job before. It's hard but you are going to feel amazing when you do it. There's no feeling like quitting a job you hate

  • Great item to throw in a random loot pile. Can fit in a pile of any creature of any CR. Why is it there? It was part of different treasure and no one bothers to use it or get rid of it. It's a dungeon white elephant

  • I have a great idea for a campaign that's roughly based on the Jackie Chan Adventures TV. They got to get the 12 talismans with one talisman per level with those talismans being the magic items.

    The MacGuffin Chronicals

  • I've got a magic item that I thought about a lot. Time to build a series of adventures around that

  • I used to think that was the case. But Twitter and Facebook show that people can be awful with their full name, address, place of employment up front and center.

  • Would need some other fruits for flavor but would be a good addition

  • I have eaten American Black Nightshade berries before. They taste like tiny tomatoes mixed with blueberries. I haven't had a full smoothie of them before though

  • If you can find one in your location we have been trying to shop more at a package free stores. We have found that the cleaning products which we have purchased are generally similar in price and work just as well if not better than we used to use. After living in a city that charged for bags at the grocery store we have gotten used to using a reusable bag for all grocery trips even though lots of items still have the single use plastics in packaging. For those we try to reuse that plastic as small garbage can liners or other uses but most get thrown away.

We have been trying to reduce our consumption in general (the high costs of goods has helped with this). We have been trying to only purchase the high quality long last version of any item instead of the cheapest one available. This has been difficult since the high quality is more expensive and its difficult to find what items are actually worth it instead of a brand name. Overall it difficult but being mindful of it has been helpful
